Osmo - Polyx oil for interior wood

PREPARATION

• The surface must be clean and dry (maximum 18% humidity).
• Clean or lightly sand the old microporous finishes, remove the old varnish.
• If necessary, sand the surface (rough surfaces) before application. It is recommended to do a final sanding with 120-150 grit sandpaper.
• Carefully remove any dust.
• Tip: If desired, the floors can be colored using Osmo Professional Colored Oil or Osmo Wood Wax Finish.

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS

• Osmo Polyx Oil is ready to use. Do not dilute.
• Shake well before use.
• Apply a thin and even first coat in the direction of the wood grain using an Osmo brush, Osmo 220mm brush, or Osmo Microfiber Roller.
• Let it dry and ensure good ventilation.
• Apply a second coat as described above.
• For renovation of oiled/waxed surfaces, generally only one coat is sufficient.
• Always apply to a clean and dry surface.

TOOL CLEANING

• Use the Osmo cleaning brush (without benzene).

DRYING

• Dry after approximately 8-10 hours (at normal climate of 73°F (23°C)/ 50% relative humidity). Drying time is extended at low temperature and/or high humidity. Let it dry with good ventilation.
• After approximately 2-3 weeks, the surface has reached its final resistance.

7. Do I need to sand the wood before applying Osmo HUILE-POLYX?
